I
could not contain my excitement when I found that Cassper Nyovest, South
African hip-hop mogul will perform in the city of Kings and Queens on the 25th
of April.

I
am one of the many Bulawayo fans who have been clamouring for promoters to
bring Nyovest to town. And finally, it is happening.
Nyovest
of the Phumakim fame will be
performing for the first time in Bulawayo at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds after he
performed in the capital on Valentine’s Day.
He
will perform alongside Djembe Monks, Winky D, and Soul Jah Luv. However, the
promoters should consider sourcing out more Bulawayo artistes as curtain
raisers for the show as a way of reviving Bulawayo Music scenes.
Tickets
are pegged between $10 and $15, will be sold at the gates on the day of the
show. I am disappointed at this arrangement and I must say, this is not a
sophisticated way of running the show.
Dee
Nosh, please reconsider this arrangement. Considering the huge fan base that
Nyovest commands in the city, there is most likely going to be congestion with
fans joining winding queues just to purchase tickets.
If
there is congestion, fans are most likely to get frustrated and leave and not
see the show.
Consider
selling tickets in Advance to avoid such a possible inconvenience.
The
show starts at 6pm.
For more information about the show, keep your ears in the ground.
See you at Hartsfield…
