Congatulations to Isibaya

Congratulations to the drama series Isibaya for garnering 10 nominations in the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) in various categories.
The drama airs during the week on DStv's Mzansi Magic, Channel 161.
Other contenders are Binnelanders with nine nominations, Isidingo with five, 7de Laan with seven Scandal and Rythym city with five in total.

Generations which is still the most watched soapie received no nominations while Muvhango garnered one nomination.

Isibaya was nominated for  best TV soapie, nods for best actor Bongani Gumede who plays Mandla Ndlovu. Celeste Ntuli (who plays Siphokazi Zungu) was nominated for best supporting actress.
